do you really want the doorman knowing you're a slut?

when i moved to ny i thought living in a doorman building was supposed to be better than one without. it is supposed to be safer and all that jazz. not that i would know, my broke ass does not live in a doorman building, but i do have an elevator...oooh i know, high class. but i was reading in the ny times that lots of people, especially single women are forgoing the doorman option because they are "too intrusive". Basically, do you want someone else to know everytime you have a late night booty call? NO! because then you have to see the doorman the next morning, and what if you're sleeping with more than one person, or an ex comes back into the picture? do you really want to deal with the stares of the doorman? i think not. good call ny times.
