mary magdalene, you rock my world

so i was watching a little discovery times channel for easter (yes, yes, i am a bad catholic, but when you have no family to motivate you to go to church....) but i figured watching a little history of the bible and all would be just as good. but then there was the hot jesus again, BAH! aparently they cast the same hot piece of ass for jesus in all these discovery times shows, damn them. anyway, but i found out something SO interesting! mary magdalene was NOT a whore! once again, the catholic church, fucking things up, no big suprise. it's only the catholics that really see it that way, awww of course, because we're down for the repression of women. (no sarcasm there) casting mary as the whore was a way to discredit women leaders of the early church and to call those out who followed her teachings as heretics... we're so compassionate. if you don't believe me check out wikipedia... mary of bethany was the "sinner". damn catholics trying to discredit the women.
