not what i had in mind

so two days ago i decided that i needed new bedroom karma. and i have a few little things i do, like new sheets among other things. so yesterday it seemed that i got immediate results, but not the kind i was looking for. first as i was waiting for the subway this guy in his fifties starts hitting on me. eww. he asks me out for drinks, ummm it's early afternoon, and i'm not an alkie, but thanks though. again with this lolita bullshit? then i'm at the campaign headquarters, which i have tried to avoid because of the group leader guy who is a little skeevy for me. but i have to pick up my paycheck. so i'm there and he asks me to spend the weekend with him upstate. WHAT!?! "well," he says, "we have some work to do in key congressional districts, and i'd like you to help me out." AHH! i'd rather have a hole in my head thank you. then i leave and i'm walking down the street and a van full of brazilian guys are honking and shouting out the windows at me, hey baby, and all that shit. blah blah blah. not the new karma i was hoping for.
